The Betz family is officially a family of 5! Little Otis fits in seamlessly and is so loved! While we were shooting, something kind of neat happened. We were on the stairs and I was photographing everyone as a family. The kids ran off, Andy went with them, Ashley was feeding Otis, and I noticed a small feather on the stair right by Ashley’s feet. After having a few experiences, I truly believe that our loved ones who have passed are still with us in some way. I believe they show us signs that they are watching over us. It might be feathers in places you might not expect to see feathers or through blinking lights or in any number of ways. We chatted a bit about it and we both felt that the feather meant something. Ashley mentioned having a vivid dream of her Grandma shortly before Otis was born. Bringing a baby into the world is an incredible thing. Souls enter this world and they don’t necessarily leave it indefinitely. Baby Otis is surrounded by so many who love him. He’s got a good start in life already, and it’s only just begun.
